  • Patent number: 6280842
Abstract: Wood meal comprises wood meal granules formed by crushing raw material wood into treated wood meal and pulverizing the treated wood meal under the frictional forces of a plurality of balls such that the bulking density of the treated wood meal is increased; and a plurality of particles fixed on the surfaces of the wood meal granules by an external pressing force. The particles are smaller than the wood meal granules such that the wood meal granules are coated with the particles. The particles are also harder than the wood meal granules such that the particles are pressed into the wood meal granules surfaces from the application of the external pressing force.

  • Patent number: 6066367
Abstract: The present invention provides a method for forming a pattern on a synthetic wood board to form, on a surface of the synthetic wood board, a pattern such as wooden grain and the like which is close to natural wood, to enhance the reality of woody like appearance. The synthetic wood board is formed by mixing 35-80 wt % of thermoplastic resin material and 20-65 wt %. By a first grinding process, the synthetic wood board is formed at its entire surface of at least one side thereof with a large number of wound stripes in one direction. By a colorant coating process, a colorant is coated on the surface on which said wound stripes are formed, the colorant impregnates in wood meal on the surface to generate blur. And some colorant remain in recess portion of the wound stripes to form recess pigment layer.

  • Patent number: 5961054
Abstract: The thermoplastic resin waste containers are crushed into coarsely crushed pieces, an impact-grinding force and a centrifugal force are applied on the coarsely crushed pieces so that oily foreign objects be separated; i.e., the oily foreign objects are separated by the impact force and the grinding force. The difference in the centrifugal force separates the resin from the foreign object, the centrifugal force on the resin pieces being controlled by the impact-grinding force, while the centrifugal force on the oily foreign object is free from it. In the course of this process, the crushed pieces to be treated are formed into granules by the impact-grinding force, and the granulated granules are reused as a resin material. Foreign objects other than oils can be separated and removed more easily than oils.

  • Patent number: 5871161
Abstract: A method and apparatus for individually collecting layers from a laminated film containing many layers made of different materials by peeling or separating the layers one from the other. The laminated film having a plurality of layers made of different materials is shredded into a plurality of fragments to be processed; and the fragments to be processed are peeled or separated according to the type of layer by applying an impact frictional striking force to each of the fragments to be processed. Subsequently, the peeled or separated layers obtained in the peeling and separating step are subjected to a wind force classifying step. The collected layers in the mixed state are separated from one another, and they are individually collected.

  • Patent number: 5801205
Abstract: Provided are a reprocessed resin which decreases volume of a thermoset resin foamed material recovered from waste of various resin products and moldably form said thermoset resin foamed material into various molded articles to thereby effectively recover and reprocess the thermoset resin foamed material, a reprocessing method therefor and a method for molding a molded article formed of said reprocessed resin. A pulverized resin to be processed formed of a thermoset resin foamed material along with a thermoplastic resin molding material are applied with a stirring impact force to produce shearing heat generation based on the stirring impact force and are gelled and blended by the shearing heat generation. In this process, the thermoplastic resin molding material is adhered so as to cover the whole surface of the individual pulverized resin to be processed and cooled and granulated to have 15 mm or less of particle diameter to thereby decrease volume by 0.

  • Patent number: 5323971
Abstract: The materials to be treated, for instance, molded resin articles with resin films coated thereon are treated by relatively simple means to separate and remove the resin film coatings from the surfaces thereof, and are further treated to recover them as a raw-form of resin material or a resin material regulated such that its particle diameter lies within a given particle diameter range, or the materials to be treated, for instance, powder materials are pulverized and granulated. A molded resin article is crushed to small pieces, to which compression impacts based on fine vibrations are in turn applied for squeezing, and resin film coatings separated off the small pieces are removed. The thus treated small pieces are further re-pulverized, and frictional crushing impacts are applied to the thus pulverized pieces as well for polishing and size-regulation.

  • Patent number: 5225536
Abstract: Fine particles of gelatin and amino acid used in the present invention are particularly suitable for use in combination with resins.Gelatin particles used in the present invention have the number-average molecular weight of 8,500 or less, and amino acid particles with the number-average molecular weight of 200 or less, so that efficient pulverization becomes possible and that gelatin and amino acid particles maintain their intrinsic properties as they are not subject to denaturation during pulverization. Resultant particles are neither too large nor too small but are uniform in size and are particularly suitable for use in combination with resins.

  • Patent number: 5171494
Abstract: Method of producing a paint or other plastic resinous material or product which on application to a surface imparts the surface with a tanned skin or leather-like appearance. The method includes incorporating into a paint or a plastic resin fluid a granular non-flocculating resin-plastic-compatible leather powder having a specific gravity of about 0.38 to about 0.5 g/cc. The leather powder is produced from tanned skin and/or leather chips and/or strips which have been steam heated a period of time sufficient to permit the chips and/or strips to swell and simultaneously cause the naturally occurring twisted and tangled collagen fibers therein to shrinkk and to automatically loosen and become less twisted and less tangled which upon pulverization produces a powder including relatively smooth granules having lubricity and relatively non-fibrous.

  • Patent number: 4610900
Abstract: The present invention relates to wood-like molded products of synthetic resin which are manufactured by mixing a synthetic resin material with a fine aggregate of cellulose base such as wood meal, chaffs, begasse and in which the internal residual stress which may cause deformation (for example, warping and twisting) of the products at the time or after molding is eliminated in advance to prevent chronological deformation. More particularly, it relates to a method of eliminating said residual stress by subjecting the molded products containing cellulose-base aggregate, especially the resinous skin layer thereof, to re-heating, curing and sanding or jetting treatments (sand blasting, shot peening, grit blasting) under predetermined conditions.
